About This Project

Slim’s Kippa Ring
– Drive Thru

This project marked a major milestone for the brand—its first-ever drive-thru location, housed in a striking blue building designed to turn heads and signal a new direction. Inspired by the charm and energy of an American diner, the concept brings together nostalgic elements with a modern, high-performance fitout.

At the heart of the space is a custom-designed kitchen line, where stainless steel benches were tailored to flow effortlessly around the equipment—supporting fast-paced service and efficient movement, true to the diner tradition of speed and simplicity.

The front-of-house experience carries the theme through in subtle, refined ways.

A custom banquette seat runs over 18 metres, creating a long, seamless transition that echoes the sociable layout of classic diner booths—updated here with clean lines and durable finishes. Above, an illuminated curved bulkhead, clad in mirror and stainless steel, reflects light and movement across the room while referencing the vintage styling cues of mid-century American eateries.

The fitout is grounded by tiled floors, chosen for both durability and a timeless, easy-to-clean aesthetic. This flagship drive-thru is more than just a service point—it’s a destination. Blending American diner nostalgia with bold architecture and tailored functionality, it sets a confident precedent for the future of the brand.
